  • Flexibly Fit
    • A limber way to begin the day.  Helps combat stiffness in sore joints and muscles.
    • A one hour stretch session
    • Physician’s approval required
    •  By confirmed registration only, no drop ins permitted
    • Minimum 4 to maximum 10 participants per class.
  • Get Up & Go!
    • This version of Osteofit offers entry level exercises for seniors who might not be able to attend other   community based classes because of their mobility challenges.
    •  Designed to improve strength, balance, and coordination.
    •  Attendance is required once or twice a week for minimum 2 month sessions.
    •   Must be 55 years or older.
    •   Must be able to transfer to a chair independently or be accompanied by a caregiver.
    •   May use a mobility aid.
    •  Must be able to follow directions with or without a caregiver.
    •   Must be able to tolerate light to moderate physical activity. 
    •   Not be able to safely participate in a community class due to physical and/or cognitive concerns.
    •   Must have transportation to and from the class.
    •  Physician’s approval is required.
    •   Minimum of 3 to a maximum of 6 participants per class.
  • Joint Works®
    • Designed to keep joints working functionally as well as can be
    • A one hour, twice a week recreational exercise class designed by The Arthritis Society for people with various types of arthritis.
    • Physician’s approval is required
    • By confirmed registration only, no drop ins permitted
    • Minimum of 4 and a maximum of 10 (or fewer) people in the class
  • Osteofit®
    • Emphasis on falls prevention.
    • A one hour, once or twice a week exercise and educational program designed through BC Women’s Hospital & Health Centre for those with osteoporosis and osteopenia.
    • Physician’s approval is required.
    • By confirmed registration only, no drop ins permitted
    • Minimum of 4 and a maximum of 10 (or fewer) people in the class
